The County of Hillsdale has contracted with RAVE Mobile Safety to provide mass notification services to the Hillsdale County community. The Rave Alerts system provides Hillsdale County officials the ability to quickly deliver messages to targeted areas or the entire County of Hillsdale including severe weather information. And Smart911 allows you to create a safety profile for your household that will be sent to dispatchers at 9-1-1 when you have an emergency.

Examples include: evacuation notices, drinking water contamination, missing persons, amber alerts, fugitives at large, etc.



Automatically notifies citizens of weather alerts that have been issued by the National Weather Service for Hillsdale County.



 Automatically notifies citizens in Hillsdale County that are in the direct path of a Severe Thunderstorm as issued by the National Weather Service.



Automatically notifies citizens in Hillsdale County that are in the direct path of a Tornado as issued by the National Weather Service.

Holidays which fall on a Saturday will be observed on Friday and those that fall on a Sunday will be observed on Monday, unless the holiday is legally observed on a Monday; with the exception of New Year's Day which shall be observed on the Monday following New Year's Day where New Year's Day falls on a Saturday or Sunday.
