- The Hillsdale County Equalization Department has a position available that is considered temporary and on a part-time/on call basis to assist the County Field Appraiser in conducting field inspections. The hours are generally from 9:00 am - 5:00 pm and is dependent mostly on weather conditions and the schedule of the Staff Appraiser in a given week. In general, this position would require an individual to be available on average 3 days per week but anyone interested should also understand that there may be some weeks where they are called on to work up to 5 days in a week and there may be some weeks where they are not called on to work any of the days in a week.
