- The Hillsdale County Equalization Department is currently accepting applications for the position of “Appraiser I”. The ideal candidate will be organized, self-motivated, have a positive attitude, a pleasant demeanor, excellent oral and written communication skills and the ability to prioritize short and long term projects. Knowledge of tax law, data processing, property descriptions, and other aspects of property tax administration desired. Prefer experience with BS&A’s Equalizer Assessing Software, APEX Sketching Software and ESRI ArcGIS or similar GIS software. This is an hourly position, full time 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM, Monday through Friday, at grade 4 ($18.67/hour).
