Due to noise from the construction at the courthouse, most Circuit Court hearings will be held via Zoom for at least the next 30 days, with the exception of criminal sentencings and jury trials which will continue to be conducted in person.

Spectators will not be allowed in the courtroom for any hearing.  All hearings will be available to view on our Hillsdale Circuit Court YouTube channel and will only be accessible while the hearing is taking place.

Parties or attorneys of a case can request for their hearing to be held in person, but special arrangements prior to the hearing date must be made by contacting the Circuit Court at 517-437-4321.  Any request for an in person hearing may result in an adjournment of the hearing if the Probate Court or District Court courtrooms are not available to conduct the hearing at the scheduled date and time.
